Patterdale Hall is looking to appoint a General Assistant on a casual basis at the Hall. The job role will be varied, allowing you to be involved in a wide range of duties to increase your skill set and experience! This role will involve working in three main areas; Catering, Housekeeping and evening duties.

 

Our General Assistants play a very important role in the experience that our school children and commercial clients have, whilst at Patterdale Hall. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and flexible individual to join our team. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential.

 

Patterdale Hall is a Residential Adventure Learning Centre, based in Glenridding on the shores of Lake Ullswater, which provides a variety of land and water-based activities for school children and commercial clients. The Hall is part of Bolton School in Lancashire.

 

The rate of pay for this position is between the National Living Wage, which is £11.44 per hour and point 03 on the Bolton School Support Staff Salary Scale, which is £11.46 per hour (rising to £12.26 per hour from September 2024). The hourly rate is dependent on skills and experience.
